What is Groomify?
Groomify is an all-in-one pet grooming, boarding, and daycare software with 8 built-in AI agents. It handles scheduling, online booking, payments, CRM, SMS reminders, reporting, and more. Our AI receptionist answers your phone calls 24/7 and books appointments automatically.
Is there a free trial?
Yes. Every plan includes a free 14-day trial with all features and AI agents included. No credit card required to start.
How long does setup take?
Most businesses are up and running in under 15 minutes. Add your services, set your hours, invite your staff, and you're ready to book. If you're migrating from another platform, our import tool handles the data transfer.
Do I need any technical skills?
No. Groomify is designed for pet business owners, not IT teams. Everything is point-and-click. The AI receptionist setup takes about 5 minutes — just tell it your services, hours, and pricing.

How does the AI receptionist work?
When a client calls your business number, the AI receptionist answers in a natural voice. It can book appointments, answer questions about your services and pricing, handle rescheduling, and recover missed calls by calling back within 60 seconds. It knows your schedule, services, and pricing.
Does it sound like a robot?
No. Our AI receptionist uses advanced voice technology that sounds natural and conversational. It understands context, handles follow-up questions, and knows breed-specific grooming terminology.
What if the AI can't handle a question?
It seamlessly transfers the call to you or your staff with a summary of the conversation so far. You set the rules for what gets transferred and what the AI handles on its own.
How much does the AI receptionist cost?
It's included on Pro and Enterprise plans. You get 100 minutes/month included, then $0.15/minute after that. The average booking call takes about 30 seconds, so that's roughly $0.08 per booking — compared to $15-25/hour for a human receptionist.
Can it handle pet boarding and daycare calls too?
Yes. The AI receptionist handles grooming appointments, boarding reservations, and daycare bookings. It knows the difference between a grooming appointment and a 5-day boarding stay, and asks the right questions for each.
Pricing & Plans
How much does Groomify cost?
Plans start at $29/month for solo groomers. The Growth plan for multi-staff businesses is $59/month. Enterprise pricing is custom for 5+ locations. All plans include core features. AI agents are available as add-ons starting at $9/agent/month.
Are there per-user fees?
No. Unlike MoeGo and Gingr, we don't charge per-user fees on Starter and Growth plans. Add as many staff members as you need.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. No long-term contracts. Cancel anytime from your account settings. Your data is exportable if you decide to leave.
Switching from Another Platform
Can I import my data from MoeGo?
Yes. We have a dedicated MoeGo import tool that transfers your clients, pets, appointment history, and service menus. Most migrations complete in under an hour.
Can I switch from Gingr or PetExec?
Yes. We support data import from Gingr, PetExec, and most other pet software platforms via CSV import with column mapping. Our support team helps with the migration at no extra cost.
Will I lose any data during migration?
No. We import all client records, pet profiles, appointment history, and service menus. You can verify everything before going live.
Features
Does Groomify work for boarding and daycare, or just grooming?
It works for all three. We have dedicated features for grooming scheduling, boarding reservations (with kennel management, feeding schedules, vaccination tracking), and daycare operations (check-in/out, activity logs, webcam integration).
Does it work for mobile groomers?
Yes. We have AI route optimization that plans your daily driving route, GPS tracking, client ETA notifications, and a mobile app so you can manage everything from your van.
Can clients book online?
Yes. You get a branded online booking portal where clients can see availability, choose services, select their preferred groomer, and book instantly. The AI booking chatbot can also guide them through the process.
Do you send appointment reminders?
Yes. Automated SMS and email reminders at configurable intervals (typically 24 hours and 2 hours before). Clients can confirm, cancel, or reschedule directly from the reminder text.
