The best mobile grooming software is priced per van and plans the day for you. Groomify, our product, is the pick for vans that want route optimization, automatic ETA texts, an offline app and an AI receptionist, from $39 a month per van. MoeGo is the most used mobile platform, with routing from its $99 Growth plan. Groomer.io is the flat-price option at $79 per van with unlimited texting. DaySmart Pet and ROXO Hub are cheaper but have nothing built for the van.
What changed this month: first edition. Every routing, texting and price claim was read from the vendor's own site on October 28, 2026. Petboost, Groomsoft and Teddy are not listed because none has a public pricing page we could read.
Prices last checked October 28, 2026. Competitor prices are read from each vendor's own pricing page on that date and are monthly list prices before tax. How we compare.

What a van needs that a salon does not
A salon schedules by chair; a van schedules by road. The software has to know where each client lives, group the day so the van is not crossing town between a Doodle and a Dachshund, tell the next client when you will arrive, and keep working in a driveway with one bar of signal. It also has to cope with the one problem every mobile groomer shares: the phone rings while both hands are on a wet dog, and the caller books with whoever answers next. Four things separate the platforms on this list: whether routing is included and on which plan, whether ETA texts are automatic, whether the app works offline, and whether anything answers the phone.
Each platform in detail
1. Groomify: Best for vans that want routing, ETAs, an offline app and the phone answered
Groomify is our product. Every per-van plan includes service areas drawn on a map, route optimization, live tracking with automatic ETA texts and a van app that keeps working without signal; Growth adds a dispatch board across vans, unlimited team members and Reserve with Google. The AI route agent plans tomorrow's routes for a dispatcher to approve, and the AI receptionist add-on answers and books while you drive between stops.
Pricing. Basic is $39 a month for one van and one team member with 200 texts, Growth $79 a van with 900 texts and unlimited team members, Ultimate $127 a van with unlimited automated texts; annual billing is 20 percent less. The AI receptionist is an add-on from $109 a month. The 14-day trial needs no card.
Pros
Routing, service areas and ETA texts on the $39 plan, not held back for a higher tier
Offline van app for driveways with no signal
The only option here with an AI receptionist that books into the van's calendar
Cons
Basic allows one team member and 200 texts
The receptionist is an add-on
Launched in 2026, so fewer public reviews than MoeGo
Who should skip it. Skip it if you want the platform with the most years of mobile-groomer reviews behind it; that is MoeGo today.
2. MoeGo: The most used mobile grooming platform; routing starts on the $99 plan
MoeGo built its name with mobile groomers and its mobile page lists route optimization, smart scheduling, service area management, nearby client search, multi-van management, a map view and quick client updates such as ETAs and ready-for-pickup notices. The pricing page puts route optimization and multi-van scheduling on Growth and Ultimate; Basic has neither. Offline use is not mentioned.
Pricing. Basic is $49 a month with 200 texts a van, Growth $99 a van with 900 texts, route optimization and multi-van scheduling, Ultimate $159 a van with unlimited automated messages; Enterprise is custom (moego.pet/pricing). No trial length is stated and no AI receptionist is listed.
Pros
The largest mobile-groomer user base and the most mature van workflow
Service areas, nearby client search and ETA updates
Priced per van with no per-user fee
Cons
Routing costs $99 a van: it is a Growth feature, not a Basic one
No offline mode on its site
No AI receptionist; a van's missed calls stay missed
Who should skip it. Skip it if you are a solo van on a budget: the $49 plan does not route, and $99 buys Groomify's Growth plan with $20 to spare.
3. Groomer.io: Flat per-van price with unlimited texting and enroute updates
Groomer.io is grooming-only software that leans mobile: its page promises to optimize routes, share enroute updates and accept payments on the go, and lists smart mapping and route optimization, automated enroute call and SMS, and real-time ETA and departure reminders. Multi-van dispatch, offline use and service areas are not mentioned.
Pricing. The landing page lists $79 a month per storefront or van, a $99 a month price it does not label, and a grooming website for $79 a month more (get.groomer.io; the pricing link returns to the same page). Texting is unlimited. No trial length is stated.
Pros
Route optimization and enroute calls at a flat per-van price
Unlimited two-way texting, so ETA messages never hit a cap
Automated phone confirmations, unusual at this price
Cons
No multi-van dispatch or service areas on its site
No offline mode
Published pricing is thin, with one unlabelled figure
Who should skip it. Skip it if you run two or more vans with a dispatcher: nothing on the site handles a fleet.
4. GrooMore: Budget mobile plans with the most texts per dollar, but no routing claim
GrooMore sells the same plan ladder to mobile and salon groomers, with scheduling, online booking, client and pet records, automatic confirmations and reminders, payments and iOS and Android apps. A customer quote on its site describes a map that shows a potential route for the day; the company itself does not claim route optimization, ETA texts, offline use or service areas.
Pricing. Mobile Standard is $49 a month with 400 texts and Premium $79 with 800 texts; Business Elite for several vans is custom (groomore.com/pricing.html). You can start free without a card, but the trial length is not stated.
Pros
400 texts for $49, twice MoeGo's allowance at the same price
Native iOS and Android apps
No setup fee and no contract
Cons
No route optimization or ETA texts claimed by the vendor
No offline mode
Multi-van pricing only on request
Who should skip it. Skip it if routing is the reason you are buying: the map is a customer's description, not a feature the company lists.
5. Pawfinity: Simple, cheap, with a route-assist tool and metered texting
Pawfinity describes itself as fast and light mobile grooming software and names an advanced mapping and route assist tool and the ability to monitor fleet vehicles. It covers scheduling, client and pet records, two-way SMS and email notifications, online booking and payments. ETA texts, offline use and service areas are not mentioned.
Pricing. Groom & Train is $60 a month or $55 on annual billing (pawfinity.com/pricing). Texts are metered at $0.05 each under 500 a month, falling to $0.035 above 1,500, with inbound replies free; the Royal package at $110 includes 250 texts. The trial is 7 days.
Pros
Low flat price with no user tiers
Route assist and fleet monitoring named on the site
Advanced online booking on every package
Cons
Every confirmation and on-my-way text costs money
No ETA automation or offline mode
7-day trial is short for a route test
Who should skip it. Skip it if you text every client before each stop: 300 texts a month adds $15 to a $60 plan.
6. DaySmart Pet: Cheapest entry price, but nothing built for the van
DaySmart Pet is the pet edition of a multi-industry scheduling product. It lists mobile pet grooming among its industries and offers a mobile app for appointments, automated reminders and online booking, but its site names no route planning, ETA texts, service areas, multi-van tools or offline mode.
Pricing. Basic is $29 a month with DaySmart Payments or $39 without, for one user, 500 texts and 1,000 emails; Deluxe $69 or $89 for three users and 1,000 texts (daysmart.com/pet/pricing). Two-way texting and text marketing are add-ons priced on request. The 14-day trial needs no card.
Pros
Lowest published price on this list
500 texts on the entry plan
14-day trial without a card
Cons
No routing, ETA texts or service areas
Plans limited by user count
Generalist product with little that is mobile-specific
Who should skip it. Skip it unless you are a solo groomer who plans routes by hand and wants the cheapest calendar.
7. ROXO Hub: Generalist booking platform with a pet grooming vertical
ROXO Hub is an all-in-one platform for independent service professionals, with pet grooming listed among its industries. The Solo plan includes an online booking page, reminders that clients can reply to, and a website; its site names no route optimization, ETA texts, service areas, multi-van tools or offline mode, and nothing is priced per van.
Pricing. Solo is $39.99 a month and Studio $139.99 a month, both billed monthly, with 25 percent off on annual billing (roxohub.com, pricing section). Texting limits are not stated. There is a free trial of unstated length.
Pros
Booking page and website in the base price
Cheap entry point for a solo professional
Reply-to-reschedule reminders
Cons
Nothing built for vans: no routing, ETAs or service areas
Not pet-specific: no breed or service durations
Texting allowance not published
Who should skip it. Skip it if you groom from a van: it is a general scheduler, and its own mobile-grooming articles recommend dedicated tools.
How to choose software for a mobile grooming business
Price it per van, then per feature. Groomify, MoeGo, Groomer.io and GrooMore price per van; DaySmart Pet prices per user and ROXO Hub per business. Then check which plan carries the feature you are buying: MoeGo's routing starts at $99, Groomify's at $39.
Make the routing real. Ask to see tomorrow's route reordered by the software, with drive time between stops. A map with pins is not routing. Service areas matter as much: a tool that lets a client across the county book a Tuesday slot costs you an hour of diesel.
Count the texts per stop. Confirmation, reminder, on-my-way and ready-for-pickup is four texts a stop; eight stops a day is 600 to 700 a month. Groomer.io is unlimited, GrooMore gives 400 to 800, Groomify and MoeGo 200 on Basic and 900 above, Pawfinity charges per text. Find the overage price.
Test the app in a dead zone. Park where the signal drops and try to check in a dog, take a photo and collect a payment. Groomify's van app is built for that; no other vendor on this list mentions offline use.
Decide who answers the phone. A van cannot have a front desk. Either the software answers (Groomify's AI receptionist add-on, from $109 a month) or you bolt on a standalone receptionist; the AI grooming software list compares those.
Then the ordinary checks. Deposits on online bookings, breed-aware durations, a client card on file, and a free import of your current clients and pets. Run the trial on a real week of stops before you cancel anything.
How we compared them, and our bias
On October 28, 2026we read each vendor's own website and pricing page and recorded the starting price with its unit, which plan includes route optimization, whether ETA or on-my-way texts are automatic, the texting allowance or per-text price, whether offline use is mentioned, the trial and whether an AI receptionist exists. A feature counts only if the vendor names it; a customer quote on the vendor's site counts as partial. Petboost, Groomsoft and Teddy were left out because we could not read a public pricing page for any of them.
Groomify is our product and is listed first because it is the only platform here that includes routing on its cheapest plan, works offline and answers the phone; the other six are ordered by how much of the van workflow their own sites cover. If you find a claim we have wrong, write to hello@groomify.ai and we will correct it and re-date the page.

How much does mobile grooming software cost per van?
Published per-van prices on October 28, 2026: Groomify $39 to $127, MoeGo $49 to $159, Groomer.io $79, GrooMore $49 to $79. Pawfinity ($60), DaySmart Pet ($29 to $39) and ROXO Hub ($39.99) price per business or per user rather than per van. Routing is included on every Groomify plan but only from MoeGo's $99 plan.
Which mobile grooming software has route optimization?
Groomify, MoeGo and Groomer.io name route optimization on their own sites. Pawfinity names a route assist tool and GrooMore's customers describe a map of the day's stops, but neither vendor claims optimization. DaySmart Pet and ROXO Hub list no routing.
Which mobile grooming apps send on-my-way or ETA texts?
Groomify sends automatic ETA texts from live tracking on every plan; MoeGo's mobile page lists quick ETA updates; Groomer.io lists automated enroute calls and texts with real-time ETA and departure reminders. GrooMore, Pawfinity, DaySmart Pet and ROXO Hub do not list them.
